Turn 6 Battle results:
Skirmishes in Foundation and Arrakis.
Both battles begin similarly with the Union deploying thier fighters and hoping to intercept the Domain forces, which unfortunatly for the Union are able to sneak past thier fighters and encircle the nearly helpless carriers at the start of the battle.
The Union deploys it's marines even as theier light carriers are torn apart, in the Arrakis system they manage to destroy one of Domain CL1's this way, but the Foundation Marines don't get a chance to deploy before the carrier is vaped.
Things continue to go slightly better in the Arrakis system as the figthers swing round from thier attempted intercept and lay into the CL1's which all take heavy damage, but even the Unions superior fighters are whitteld away eventually, leaving one heavly damaged CL-1 as the sole survivour of the battle wich proceeds to move in and obliterate the Delta Ajax Niner faciliy.
The Union fighters meet with much stiffere resistance in Foundation, but again are able to use thier incredble battle porwess to down 3 Domain Cl-1s before succuming to point defence fire. The two mildly damaged Domain CL-1s proceed to level the Arecibo research complex.

Turn 7 Battle results:
Battle of Polaris
The battle opens with the Union once more deploying all thier strike craft to face the on coming Domain forces and slinking thier captials back to form up as a defencie posture.
The Domain CL-2's and Bombers utterly ignore the wall of strike craft, flying in to begin ravaging the Union carriers. Meanwhile the screen of Domain CL-1's and Interceptors engage the Strikecraft formation while the Domain CL-3 and CL-4 attempt to remain out of range of the furball.
Taking out the Union carriers with only light losses, the Domain CL-2's join in the massive brawl. Seeing thier carriers destroyed the remianing union forces expend all thier remaining weapons and begin kamikazining the largest ships they can find, destroying the Domain CL-3 and heavily damaging the CL-4 which are finally brought into the battle. Leaving a rather ravaged Domain fleet incontrol of the system.

The Battle of Deathspire The Neo-terran forces approached the Deathspire jump node in Sirius under flag of truce. In accordance with the request of the Imperium forces, only the Orion-class battleship jumped through.
After some negotiation, it was agreed that the Orion dock with one of the network of defence stations placed around the Jump Node. However, upon docking, it was revealed to be a trap. The battleship was packed with explosives, which were set off.
The ensuing blast rivalled the force of the Incarnate's reactor in the Battle of Omega Ceti, vaporising the Orion and the battlestation, tearing apart another, badly damaging six more and damaging the Deathspire fleet. In the chaos, the two prototype CL5 Hades jumped in, burning away from the destruction and firing.
Thanks to their suspicions, the Children recover fast, and manage to disable one of the Hades engines, which spirals out of control, ramming its sister ship. Damaged and stalled, the second Hades turns and opens fire on its pursuers, destroying an Ascendent dreadnaught before succumbing.
The remaining vengeful Children pursue the uncontrolled Hades, and tear it apart. The multitude of beam cannons destroy the lone Flamewraith cruiser before it too is destroyed.
However, there was an unanticipated side-effect of so much energy being channelled into the Jump Node. Space tore, and the node vanished.

Salvage: 440 PP (Orion and docked station vaporised beyond salvaging)

(This is a one-off effect. There is no way of telling the exact conditions required to destroy a jump node.)
